Duration: 10 Days
Grade: Easy
Accommodation: Lodge Based

This comfortable altitude trek is ideally suited for the first-tie trekker. It offers a spectacular introduction to trekking in Nepal.

Annapurna I (8091m). Trekking here is very popular because of its terrific mountain and village scenery.

As you leave Pokhara and wind your way u p terraced hillsides into the mountains, you will be p assign through bright Rhododendron forests and charming villages perched on precarious ridge tops. The Rhododendron is Nepal’s national flower. Mammals like the rhesus monkey, common langur, yellow-throated marten and the Himalayan weasel are often encountered on the trek.

Nepal’s cultural diversity unfolds before you on the trial, you will be walking through villages of Gurungs, and Magar communities provide most of the Gurkha soldiers who have earned worldwide fame for their bravery. Ghandrung (1,940m) is the second-largest Gurung village in Nepal and consists of closely-clustered, slate-roofed houses surrounded by nearly terraced fields. You can get fantastic views of Mt. Annapurna South and the fish-tail side of Machhapuchhre from here.

You will also meet exotic mule trains that are reminiscent of the ancient Tibetan trade route. From Ghorepani you can enjoy the spectacular panorama of Dhaulagiri I (8467m, the eight highest mountain in the world), Nilgiri (7061m). Annapurna I, Himalchuli and other summits. Poon Hill, offering the best peak views in the highlight of our trek.
